The Manager of Information security oversees critical programs that protect assets which drive revenue for the organization and store the priceless data which drive our insightful healthcare data solutions. This role will work with leadership in all areas of the organization to ensure an effective information security program and processes are in place. 
  • Project planning, execution, and control for risk initiatives;
  • Manage large, transformative initiatives that impact multiple Lines of Business and products;
  • Identifying and managing to the critical path and milestones of a schedule;
  • Guiding the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight of internal stakeholders;
  • Identification of risks and issues impacting schedule and quality of deliverables with follow through on mitigation, resolution;
  • Responsible for managing all aspects of project progress and ensure timely completion and on-time delivery on commitments;
  • Lead and ultimately be responsible for the identification of security trends in order to achieve and maintain a holistic security posture including, but not limited to risk analysis, security architecture and design, and systems evaluations;
  • Ensure ongoing protection of confidential data and risk assessment relative to Inovalon business model including, but not limited to classification of data, accessibility controls, storage and resource allocation;
  • Establish recurring and long-range security and compliance goals and KPIs. Define metrics, reporting mechanisms and program services; and create maturity models and a roadmap for continual program improvements;
  • Liaise with business to understand their security architecture needs and influence adoption of enterprise-wide security architecture. Deliver risk evaluation for to enhance Information Protection strategy; and
  • Work extensively in the development and designing distributed information systems and information security systems programs.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology related field and or equivalent work experience required;
  • 5-7 years of progressive experience performing Technology and security related duties with at least 3 of the years in cybersecurity;
  • Knowledge of applicable HIPAA, SAS70, COBIT, SOX, NIST, CIS, and data privacy practices and laws;
  • Experience in a national or international companies with a geographically dispersed workforce;
  • Knowledge of State and Federal laws governing public companies as related to Information Security;
  • Knowledge of current landscape and future trends in information security, compliance, and risk management;
  • Familiarity with cloud security alliance preferred; and
  • CISSP, CISA, CISM, CEH and MCSE certifications preferred.
