Our client's Performance Engineering Team are responsible for building and running our mission critical performance test infrastructure. This job provides a unique opportunity to work on one of the financial industry's leading investment management systems on a team that is key to our ability to meet our customers' high expectations for performance and reliability.
As a Performance Engineer, you will work with senior engineers to expand the coverage of our performance test suites and interpret their results. Additionally, you will be responsible for the setup, execution and troubleshooting of test plans.
Perform tasks of limited scope and complexity under the direction of more senior staff including development, execution, and interpretation of performance tests.
Actively participate in the agile software development process by adhering to the CRD Scrum methodology including attending all daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retropspectives.
Participate in cross-team group activities to complete assignments.
B.S. degree(or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, and Physics or other technical course of study required. MS degree strongly preferred.
0-2 years of professional experience or equivalent college project experience gained through relevant internships or co-op positions.
Knowledge of the design, implementation, execution and interpretation of performance tests and performance test infrastructure.
Able to work on small projects under the supervision of a more senior team member
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Able to work constructively with peers in a collaborative team environment.
Demonstrated experience working with an Agile development methodology
